Dr McKenna Cup dates and venues confirmed

The times, dates and venues for the 2022 Dr McKenna Cup have been announced.

The pre-season competition will throw-in on Thursday, January 6 when Armagh and Cavan meet under lights at the Athletic Grounds. All-Ireland champions Tyrone's first game will be against Cavan at Kingspan Breffni on Tuesday, January 11, two days after they return from their team holiday.

The semi-finals will take place on Tuesday, January 18 with the final slated for Saturday, January 22.

Section A: Donegal v Down in Ballybofey 

Section C: Derry v Monaghan in Celtic Park

Tuesday, January 11

Section A: Down v Antrim in Páirc Esler 

Section B: Cavan v Tyrone in Kingspan Breffni 

Section C: Monaghan v Fermanagh (TBC)

 

Round 3 (All games at 1.30pm)

Saturday, January 15

Section A: Antrim v Donegal in Corrigan Park 

Section B: Tyrone v Armagh in Healy Park
