Mayo have opted to disband their camogie team, meaning they will not field a senior team in 2025.
It comes after team manager Colum O'Meara stepped down from his role with his side having suffered some heavy defeats in league and championship last year.
The Galway native cited the lack of collective training sessions as a major issue.
After having been reformed in 2021, Mayo’s senior camogs went on to win the Division 4 league title before capturing the Nancy Murray Cup.
However, the lack of available numbers at present has led to the decision to disband the team.
Mayo will continue to field at minor and U16 level, with the latter having reached an All-Ireland C final last year where they lost out to Cavan.
