Sixmilebridge joint-manager Davy Fitzgerald is confident that his charges will be primed for their Munster club SHC campaign.

The Clare champions take on a Ballygunner side that came out on top when they sides last met in the province two years ago.

Fitzgerald weaved his magic to get his own club back to the top of the pile in Clare and now he is targeting Munster.

Speaking to the Clare Champion, he said: “We will get stuck into it. We know what is coming next and we won’t be given much of a chance, but if those boys apply themselves, we will give it a right cut.”
