Seadna Morey says Clare champions Sixmilebridge are determined to set the record straight in this year’s Munster Club SHC.

Six-point victors against Cratloe in Sunday’s Clare senior hurling championship final, Sixmilebridge have lost their last three matches in the provincial competition. They are due to meet defending champions Ballygunner in their quarter-final on November 3rd, the Waterford kingpins having pipped them by a point at the semi-final stage two years ago.

“I feel like we have unfinished business in Munster,” Banner County ace Morey told The Irish Sun. “We’ve been there three times and not performed the way we can so we have to focus on that now.

“We’ll enjoy the next few days but when we come back in we have no better man to help us refocus than Davy Fitzgerald. We played Ballygunner in Walsh Park two years ago and they got on top of us so we’ll be looking to rewrite that and put in a performance — that’s the main thing.”
