New Fermanagh football manager Kieran Donnelly will have to do without the services of Eoin Donnelly after the experienced midfielder brought the curtain down on his decade long inter-county senior career.

The Coa clubman was handed his Fermanagh senior debut by Peter Canavan in 2012 and went on to captain the Erne County for eight seasons, including 2018 when they made a rare Ulster SFC final appearance after his late punched goal against Monaghan sent them through to the decider. In addition, he represented Ulster in the inter-provincial series.

Donnelly, who currently lives and works in Down, has cited family and travel commitments as the reasons behind his decision to call it a day.
