Brid Stack has said she is looking forward to starting rehab after fracturing a vertebrae during her first game of Australian Rules Football.
Stack suffered the injury at the weekend and was diagnosed with a stable fracture of the C7 vertebrae. The 11 time All-Ireland winning former Cork ladies footballer was released from hospital on Monday.
She tweeted earlier: “Devastated but counting my blessings. Looking forward to rehab once cleared to do so.”
