Longford manager Padraic Davis has had his term extended for another two years.

RTE Sport reports that Davis and his management team of Paul Barden, Donal Ledwith and ex-Galway player John Donnellan were given the extension at last night’s meeting of the county executive.

The Midlanders defeated Louth in their Leinster SFC opener a month ago before narrowly losing out to Laois in the provincial quarter-finals.
