Essendon's Conor McKenna leaves a Adelaide Crows defender in his wake...

Essendon’s Conor McKenna is free to resume training this Wednesday.

The Tyrone man was in quarantine having tested positive for Covid-19 ten days ago. Two subsequent tests gave negative results and McKenna will be allowed to exit quarantine early as result.

He was given a one week suspension for breaking the AFL’s Covid-19 protocols by visiting the house of his former host family. However, that ban was served while McKenna was in isolation and he is now available for the next round of fixtures this weekend.
