Thanks to The Tipp Hurlers

(Oldest Posts First)

Well done Tipp.
We are blessed with some of the best players to have ever worn the blue and gold. Callanan,Paudie Maher,Noel McG would hold their place with any Tipp generation.
We have dominated Munster for the past few years hopefully we can now add a few more because the players above deserve to have 4-5 medals in their careers.
And another thing we won it the right way, no sweepers, blanket defence rubbish, total hurling that does justice to the Premier County.

premiergold well done ye have a serious team.....and for all the other teams blaming systems and managers, how many of the clares and limericks and the likes have a cathal barrett in the full bk line ( best corner bk in the country) a padraic maher in the half bk line a brendan maher in midfield ( serious hurler) or a full forward line like tipp....ye have a serious team and are well capable of winning at least one or 2 more all irelands with that team.

Still don't have word to describe the win. Right up there as the sweetest but by god we need to build on this and not let this be 2010 all over. Mick Ryan big job now is to find another player or two for next year. John Meagher will hopefully be injury free and see game time in the league. I was told Stephen O Brien was flying it before all Ireland so will his second year on panel improve him enough to make the break

Heard the same about Stephen O'Brien, I think John Meagher had originally reomved himself from panel to concentrate on club for a while but yeah defintely a potential addition.

John Meagher pulled out of panel to try and get all the injuries clear up, think it was done so on medical advice. Would be great if we could find another half forward and another midfielder. Think we are strong enough in the backs, would like to see Tom Hamill get games in the league surely the last year on panel has improved him.

Tom Fox is another possible addition to the backs.
Need to blood another forward or two, perhaps with this management Buggy O'Meara could be worth another look for the league, still does very well at club level

Ya Tom Fox has being hurling well, hopefully we will see him in the league but as you say loads of backs need a forward or two to be found
