Offaly's Jack Bryant celebrates

Supporters of All-Ireland U20FC finalists Offaly and Roscommon are set for a ticket boost if Sunday's All-Ireland SFC semi-final is postponed.

The Shannonside derby is due to act as the curtain-raiser at Croke Park to the Tyrone v Kerry senior encounter which is now in considerable doubt because of a Covid outbreak in the Tyrone camp. Under currrent restrictions, GAA headquarters has a capacity of 24,000 and there's little doubt that Offaly and Roscommon would have no problem selling that number of tickets such is the interest in both counties in the Tim Clarke Cup decider.

The GAA has indicated that the U20 final will go ahead in Croke Park as a stand-alone fixture if the All-Ireland SFC semi-final is postponed. As things stand, Offaly and Roscommon will receive a mere 2,000 tickets between them.
