Br Bosco Cup reaches knockout stages

The Leinster Schools SF ‘A’ Championship (Br Bosco Cup) is down to the knockout stages with five preliminary quarter-finals taking place over the next three days.

The first of the knockout games takes place in Stradbally this afternoon when Coláiste Choilm, Tullamore take on St Peter’s College, Wexford. The winners of the five ties will progress to quarter-finals proper in the New Year.

There will be new champions crowned in 2022 after 2020 winners St Joseph’s, Rochfortbridge (there was no competition last season) were knocked out by St Patrick’s CS, Navan last week.

Monday, December 20

Coláiste Choilm, Tullamore v St Peter's College, Wexford (Stradbally GAA, 12noon).

Tuesday, December 21

Athlone CC v St Mel's College (Athlone CC, 1.45pm).

St Patrick's CS, Navan v Maynooth SLS (Páirc Tailteann, 12noon).

Naas CBS v Coláiste Mhuire, Mullingar (Hawkfield, 1pm).

Wednesday, December 22

Marist College, Athlone v St Mary's Knockbeg College (St Brigid's, Kiltoom, 12noon).
