Kinnitty Camogie Club Notes

September 27, 2021

The Kinnitty senior squad

Thank you to Gilltraps Pub and Glamping for their support and sponsorship of new kit which was presented to our Senior girls and management team on Friday evening.

Under 11s

Our Under 11 girls played the first of their blitzes this year when the travelled to Killeigh for at 9.30 am start on Saturday morning, an ungodly hour to start a camogie blitz but our girls were unpreturbed as they set about playing St Sinchills, St Rynaghs and Tullamore.  The girls played some excellent camogie, displayed some excellent defending, great skill and hit some fantastic scores.  They even played one mini match with two players less than their opponents and still managed to win.  Of course winning is not everything at such a young age but such an achievement deserves to be recognised and noted.  Well done to all our girls and their coaches and thank you to St Sinchills for this hospitality.

Team:  Sarah Nolan, Kate Harris, Aisling Farrell, Zoey Farrell, Michaela Blake, Dervla O’Brien, Aine Kinsella, Lucy Bradley, Caoimhe O’Shea, Emma Robinson
