Fraher Field, Dungarvan stages the Division Four promotion play-off between Antrim and Waterford.

A line was effectively drawn under the 2021 national football and hurling leagues today as all outstanding issues were resolved.

In football, Armagh hosted Roscommon and Monaghan entertained Galway in crunch Division One relegation shoot-outs, while the Division Two semi-finals / promotion play-offs pitted Kildare against Meath and Clare against Mayo.

Longford welcomed Munster champions Tipperary to Pearse Park for a Division Three relegation play-off and Antrim met Waterford at Fraher Field for the right to move up from Division Four.

In hurling, in the race to finish top of Division One Group A, Cork and Galway were in direct opposition at Pairc Ui Chaoimh while Tipp travelled to Waterford. All-Ireland champions and Division One holders Limerick closed their league campaign in Mullingar against Westmeath.

Round Five of Division 2A of the hurling league was largely academic as Offaly had already been promoted and Wicklow relegated prior to their meeting at Baltinglass. Meanwhile, Down hosted Meath and Kerry were away to Carlow in their final outings ahead of the championship.
