dead rubber game, though our boys fought well bearing in mind the outcome result wouldnt change their league position or status, with a few players still to come in i think they will be in an even beter position come the championship, wouldnt agree that Toher is no addition the man was obviously injured leaving the field, have never seen such rubbish from a referee beofre, he was very poor.

What players are to come in? Very few I think! Maybe a few minors, that's all.

Forde gone to America and I'm sorry the 2 super star returns haven't done it for me. There is no doubt Ragan is a legend of a free taker but he contributes next to nothing from play & as the championship rolls around the free count is going to go down. Tougher looks well n all but his most memorable contribution to the league was coming off injured. I'm really starting to think Martin Ennis knew what he was at

God the talk round here is he was away to America. That's a huge relief then because he is a proper championship hurler!!

Meath or Kiltale Cant be without Anthony Forde, he is the engine room of the team and when the ground gets harder he will cut defense in half with his pace. His work rate is unbelievable around the pitch also. A great player club and county, got a raw deal in League this year, was substituted a few times and dropped for Kerry match when a few around him were not pulling their weight.

I think the annual exodus to the US doesn't start till mid-June, sanction must be approved before July 1st but is not now as easy as it was, a lot of new regulations such as 90 day insurance and an approved J1 Visa.
Anthony Forde therefore could potentially play in the Tier 2 and still go to the US, alright for Meath but not great for Kiltale, especially with the top 6 from last year all being in the same group. All games will be potential banana skins.

However we are slipping off the topic and Tier 2 and SHC should be new topics.

I felt at the beginning that we would beat Kildare and London and that to show improvement we would have to pick up other points. As the League turned out yesterday we would have to admit that Westmeath at home was an opportunity lost but lost that early in the second half. Kerry game? Definitely a bad day out, Carlow? Hard to predict how it would have gone with 15 players. Overall scoring rate needs to improve as we have to to win one or two games to hold our place in Tier 2. Essential if progress is to be maintained.

Depends if Tougher is fit...

If he is fit then no! Because we never play well with him in team! Slows us down far to much!

If his hamstring is still at him it will force Nick to use some of our quicker more dangerous players like Heffernan or Gannon and then we will be much more dangerous.
