Moynalty 0-14 Kilbride 3-18

Moynalty welcomed Kilbride to play the last round game in the A League on a great evening for football.

It was Kilbride who got the first score. Paul Lynch soon replied for Moynalty. The visitors went on to score a goal and six points to Moynalty’s three. Bryan Mc Cormack and Paul Lynch got Moynalty’s last points of the first half. But it was all Kilbride as they scored another goal and four points before referee Paul Mooney blew for half time. Leaving half time score Moynalty 0:06, Kilbride 2:11. 

The second half was much the same for the visitors as they scored their third goal within minutes of the restart, which was a killer blow for Moynalty. The home side tagged on two scores from James Lynch and Mattie Mc Kenna. Kilbride went on to score a further seven points to Moynalty’s six and earn a place in the final with Moylagh.
