IHC: The Heavey, Geoghegan and Power show in Kildalkey

Kildalkey 3-25 Killyon 0-3

After the senior game against Trim in Navan earlier on Kildalkey supporters headed back to the village for a home game v Killyon in the Intermediate championship.

With two wins in the bag against Kilskre/Moylagh and Ratoath Kildalkey were never in trouble against an under strength Killyon team and led from start to finish .

Will Power opened the scoring from a free and led at halftime by 1-12 to 0-1 with the goal coming from the experienced Podger Geoghegan and he also added 3 points in the half another experienced player Sean Heavey scored 4 and both always looked dangerous when on the ball.

Ronan Potterton, Ryan Byas and Ben Rickard were the other scorers in the half.

Things didn’t get any better for Killyon in the second half as Geoghegan added another goal along with 3 more points and Heavey added another 4 as they dominated proceedings.

Power scored Kildalkey’s 3rd goal and Ross Flynn and Lee Coldrick added scores as Power finished as he started with a pointed free to leave the scoreboard reading Kildalkey 3-25 Kilyon 0-3
