St. Michaels 0-04, Seneschalstown 3-16
There was a significant imbalance displayed between these two teams in Seneschalstown last evening as visitors St. Michaels were no match for a powerful Seneschalstown side.
The visitors were staring down a sizeable deficit before they'd even found their bearings as the Seneschalstown girls dominance was set ominously early when they reeled off 1-5 without reply in the opening 12 minutes as they took advantage of the strong wind to their backs as they barely allowed the St Michaels girls out of their own half. The home sides dominance continued throughout as they extended their lead to 1-9 to 0-0 at the interval.
The St. Michaels girls did try their best to rally in the new half with two points apiece coming from Seona Lynch and Marion Farrelly but it was a lost cause at that stage.
