Meath’s first foray in to the top tier of the National Football League may have ended in relegation but the Royals can take some positives from a very broken campaign. 

Andy McEntee’s charges could have taken something from those two home games against Mayo and Galway. Two encouraging displays after the Covid-19 break against Dublin and Monaghan will give the young Royals a much needed boost ahead of the Leinster SFC in two weeks time.

Meath used 36 players over the seven game campaign with David Toner, Donal Keogan, Bryan Menton, Cillian O’Sullivan and Thomas O’Reilly the only players to start in every game.
