Former Mayo star Diane O’Hora has been appointed as Roscommon ladies manager for 2021.
O'Hora captained Mayo to the county’s first ever All-Ireland senior ladies title in 1999 and went on to win three more Celtic Crosses in the green and red.
She has previously coached Down to an All-Ireland intermediate success and has also enjoyed successful stints with Longford and Meath.
The new appointment with the Rossies marks O’Hora’s first return to inter-county management in five years.
Speaking on the appointment, Roscommon LGFA Chairperson Brendan Cregg said: “No doubt Diane will bring the same commitment and dedication to the Roscommon set-up as when she was a player.
“She will use her own experience from her playing days, and with her coaching expertise alongside her experience in fitness, she will no doubt be just what the set-up needs. On behalf of Roscommon LGFA, I wish Diane all the best for 2021.”
