Geraldines club notes

July 19, 2021

No football this past week for our Senior Men however our 2nd team had a good victory over the Clans on Tuesday night, winning 2-14 to 0-10.

Our Senior Ladies had a comprehensive victory over Roche Emmets in Round 6 of Division 1, finding the net 6 times in a 6-11 to 1-04 victory to make it 6 wins from 6. Both of our Junior Ladies recorded excellent wins against Cooley and Stabannon.

McGeough Park held a hugely successful Louth Cúl Camp this past week. 197 children attended making the Geraldines camp the largest one in Louth. Huge thanks to all involved in getting our facilities ready and to all who ensured an enjoyable week was had by all.

Our Lotto is back and currently stands at €5400.00; please check our social media for details of the ways in which you can take part.  We thank everyone who supports our club lotto; funds raised are essential to the running of our facilities for the entire parish to enjoy. Remember that you got to be in it to win it!

We continue to ask everyone who visits our grounds to adhere to the strict protocol we have in place and to be compliant as we endeavour to keep you all safe.

The Geraldine’s Skills Camp will run from 09-11 Aug inclusive and is open to all from 7-18 years. Top coach and Gers regular, Paddy Christie is confirmed to join us again this year. The Skills Camp is a regular on the Gers calendar and extremely popular, so we urge everyone interested to book your spot ASAP to avoid disappointment.  Places can be booked via the club shop on Clubzap and early bookings will get a limited edition Gers training top as part of the fee.

Our club gear will soon be available through the DEFY club shop.
