CLUB RESULTS

On Sunday the Ladies recorded an excellent win over Glyde Rangers in the 2nd Round of the League. The Junior men were beaten by Roche Emmets in their first game of the season in Division 5A, where some of our younger players tasted adult football for the first time.  The Senior men were agonisingly beaten by Oliver Plunketts by a single point in the 1st Round of the Division 2 League on Sunday.  Well done to all boys and girls who took part in the u7 & U9 football blitzes during the week against Lannleire and Dreadnots.  There was lots of great football on display from all teams.  All kids had a great time and are looking forward to the next blitz.  Thanks to all kids, parents and coaches for making it all possible.  Hard luck to the U16 girls who lost their first game of the season on Wednesday evening against the Kilkerley.  The U15 boys had a solid result with another draw, this time against O'Raghallaigh while the U13 boys had a great start in Division 1 with an excellent win over the Geraldines.  The U9 hurlers had their first run out of the yearin a blitz hosted at John Markey Park on Tuesday.  There was an U10 huling/camogie blitz on Saturday in Termonfeckin also, with plenty of great skill and endeavour. Well done to all!
