EASTER BUNNY COMES TO TOGHER

The Togher Easter Bunny was out and about this morning with a special surprise for all the children of the parish. Just a small token to let them know that we are thinking of them in these strange times and that we can't wait to get back training.

Over 300 eggs were given out. Thank you so much to all the boys & girls & mammies and daddies of the parish who came to visit us this morning!  We had an absolute ball and thankfully the weather managed to behave itself. We were overwhelmed by our community's spirit of good will and positivity. It was a joy to see all our rising stars - we miss you all so much and can't wait to get back to the training pitch! Fingers crossed for later this month all going well.

Thank you very much to togher.info who co-sponsored the Easter eggs. Thank you to Bryan Rogers for the use of his trailer, also to those who provided decorations, posters, arts & crafts for the trailer, also all our Easter bunny helpers and Executive committee members.

Huge congratulations to all.

Even though we haven't been able to get back to training, our officers & coaches have been kept busy behind the scenes.  This evening several of our coaches, mentors, referees, officers, committee members and prospective coaches took part in a 3-hour GAA child safeguarding training course.  Sincere thanks to Mark Heslin who facilitated the session and to all of our members for logging in.

PLEASE SUPPORT former Naomh Fionnbarra stalwart Trevor Dolan and his wife Sandra as they are trying to raise funds for their son Harry, who has a very rare genetic disorder called MSL3 syndrome. He is currently the 1st  child in Ireland diagnosed with this condition and there is less than 50 children worldwide.

Donations towards Harry’s cause would be greatly appreciated by the Dolan family. To donate please visit the link to their Go Fund Me page:
