Visit from Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael

The club were privileged on Monday evening with a visit to Emmet Park from Larry McCarthy, Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael where he met members of the Emmet Óg senior and minor clubs. An t-Uachtarán also took time from his busy schedule to take in Round 1 of the Herterich Butchers U17 Football Championship between Killoe Óg and Northern Gaels St.Patrick's Óg and meet the Killoe Óg U17 panel and management.

2021 Senior Championship Rd 2 V Longford Slashers

Our Seniors recorded a 2 point victory over Longford Slashers in round 2 of the Championship. Killoe opened the scoring with Mark Hughes converting from a mark. While Longford Slashers controlled the opening phases they failed to make good of their chances while Killoe also missed opportunities they had scored 7 points to Longford Slashers 2 at half time. Longford Slashers continued the attack in the second half and a black card to Evan Farrelly further increased the pressure on the Killoe defence. Points from Ronan McGoldrick and Cian Dooner gave Killoe the breathing room they needed and so the final score read Killoe 0-11 Longford Slashers 0-9. Well done to the team and management on two wins from two.

2021 Intermediate Championship Rd 2 V St. Brigids Kilashee

Our Intermediate team had disappointing defeat to St. Brigids Kilashee on Sunday with early goals allowing Kilashee to pull away easy. Full time score Killoe 3-9 St. Brigids Kilashee 7-13.

Upcoming Fixtures

Our Intermediate team take on Ballymahon in round 3 of the Intermediate Championship on Friday night at 8pm in Allen Park. Our Seniors take on Colmcille in round 3 of the Senior Championship on Sunday evening at 5pm in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
