Dromard 3-16 Abbeylara 5-11. Our senior team lost out by a single point to Abbeylara in an exciting and eventful game played at Fr McGee Park on Sunday evening. Dromard started the game very well and played some good football throughout, but the concession of goals at vital times halted Dromard’s momentum when they had worked hard to establish a lead at different stages in the game. Well done to the players and management team on an encouraging display as Dromard were unlucky not to take something from this game. Thanks to the Colmcille club for hosting the game and for having their facilities in great condition. Thank you to Club Chairman Gerry Sheridan for organising the distribution of tickets for the game. Dromard team v. Abbeylara: Oisin Hourican; Dylan McCormack, Peter Reynolds, James Mimnagh; Peadar Kiernan, John Sheridan, Kevin Donohoe (0-1); Oisin O’Toole, Ronan McEntire (0-3); Ronan Bleakley, Bernard Sheridan, Fionn Hourican; Ross McNerney (0-6), Francis McGee (2-1), Joseph Hagan (0-4). Subs: Conor Grimes, Daniel Conboy, Conor McGahern.

Artwork Installation:  Congratulations to former Dromard Ladies player, Rosario Rabbitt, who was commissioned to design a piece of art depicting the "Old Village of Aughlnaclife", which has long since disappeared, it was located about a quarter of a mile behind the Aughnacliffe Dolman. The piece was erected by Vinnie Hawkins and Padraig Mulligan (Dunbeggan) and Colmcille Parish Priest, Fr. Seamus McKeon kindly donated a viewing seat. Another former Fostra woman, Anna McKeon is very instrumental in the idea behind the Artwork, and in the ongoing Lebeen Park Development, which is a huge credit to all involved.
