Lotto

The weekly Emmet Óg & Killoe Minor Club Lotto Draw took place on Sunday evening.

The Jackpot was €11,000.

There was no Jackpot winner this week.

Numbers drawn on the night were 4, 17, 21,  32

Condolences

The club extends its deepest sympathies to the Doherty family on the death of Aidan. R.I.P 

 

Senior Teams Run4Pieta

The 2021 Run4Pieta takes place this year across June & July with GAA Clubs from all over Ireland taking part in order raise funds for Pieta House. Run4Pieta will also create awareness of looking after mental health. Pieta provide a FREE service and no referral is required for people who need help.

For this years fundraiser, Pieta House have kindly offered to split the funds raised by the GAA Clubs 50/50 which will support the vital services Pieta House provides aswell as supporting GAA Clubs across the country such as our own. Due to fixtures, The Killoe Young Emmets Senior Team will now be doing their 24 hour run on Saturday the 26th at 12 noon for 24 hours. Division 1 V Dromard

Our senior team had a draw against Dromard on Saturday evening last in the first round of the league. We got off to a good start and at half time we were drawing 10 points apiece. Dromard came back and got a goal but we popped over points to make up the difference. Our players played very well throughout the game despite missing a few players. Well done to the team and management. 

Scorers: Ronan McGoldrick 4 points, Larry Moran & Denis McGoldrick 2  points each Mark Hughes 6 points (5 frees), Micheal Hughes 1 point (45’) Eamon Keogh, Ciaran Donohue & David McCarthy 1 point each. 

 

Division 3 V Longford Slashers

Our intermediate team got their division 3 campaign off to a bright start, with a 2-17 to 1-7 win over Longford Slashers in Michael Fay Park on Sunday. Well done to all the team & management. 

 

Upcoming Fixtures

Our Division 5 team are home this Wednesday the 23rd to Legan Sarsfields at 8pm. Our Senior team take on Drumlish away in the second round of the league this Friday at 8pm while our division 3 team are at home to Ballymore on Sunday at 2PM.  Fixtures can be viewed on the Longford GAA website.
