Anniversary: Congratulations to our Parish Priest Fr. Pat Lennon who reached the milestone of being 47 years ordained on Sunday 6 June. Dromard GAA would like to congratulate Fr. Pat on reaching this landmark in his priesthood and to thank him for his dedicated service to the parish. We wish Fr. Pat continued years of health in his ministry. Although never slow to remind us of his Fr Manning Gales roots, he is a great supporter of his adopted Club and we look forward to welcoming him back to Páirc na nGael for a match in the coming weeks.

National Football League: Best of luck to the Longford footballers against Tipperary on Sunday (13 June) as they aim to secure their Division 3 status against the 2020 Munster champions. Masses: In-person religious services have resumed, subject to a maximum attendance of 50 people in the Church. Fr Pat has asked you to note that weekday Masses have been designated to fulfil the Sunday obligation and so attendance at a Wednesday (Moyne 7pm) or Friday evening Mass (Legga 7pm) has the same status as the weekend Masses. With attendances in both churches limited to 50, as many people as possible are asked to attend the weekday Masses so as to avoid people having to be turned away from weekend Masses. Ushers will be on duty in both churches to help ensure the safety of those attending.

Online Masses: A reminder that Masses continue to be streamed live online from from St. Francis Xavier Church Moyne on churchtv.ie/moyne and from St Mary’s Legga on churchtv.ie/legga The weekly Church Newsletter can be collected from Corrigans, Gortermone Stores or Moyne Stores and from both churches, which remain open during the day for private prayer.
