All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals
Derry 5-13 Clare 2-8, Croke Park FT
Dublin 0-21 Cork 0-10, Croke Park FT

19:38

That's all the action over for today. We witnessed two one-sided matches as Ulster champions Derry and their Leinster counterparts Dublin eased to victory over Munster opponents Clare and Cork respectively. I'll be back with the third and fourth quarter-finals tomorrow - Galway V Armagh and Kerry V Mayo. I think they could be closer than today's matches. Thanks for reading.

19:36

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final full time: Dublin 0-21 Cork 0-10

A facile victory for Dublin, who advance to an All-Ireland semi-final against Kerry or Mayo, who meet tomorrow. It will be the Dubs' 13th successive semi-final appearance.

19:36

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-21 Cork 0-10

O'Donnell wins a free and Rock does the rest.

19:34

A late, late yellow card is flashed at Niall Scully.

19:33

Four minutes of injury time being added on here. Rock hits the left upright.

19:29

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-20 Cork 0-10

Kilkenny claims his third and hurling star Eoghan O'Donnell comes into the full-back line to make his debut for the Dublin senior footballers, immediately winning an aerial duel. Rock pops over from an advanced mark.

19:28

Cork's wides tally goes out to eleven. More economical, Dublin have sent six efforts off target. Yellow for O'Rourke with four minutes to go.

19:26

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-18 Cork 0-10

Substitute Aaron Byrne quickly opens his account. With an advantage being played, Hawk-Eye confirms that the shot split the posts.

19:23

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-17 Cork 0-10

O'Mahony rifles a brace of frees over the bar, silencing the whistles. Cork would have preferred an advantage instead of the first one but Sean Hurson blew his whistle early.

19:20

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-17 Cork 0-8

Gannon gets forward again for his second point - one in each half and one off either foot.

19:18

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-16 Cork 0-8

With 15 minutes left, O'Rourke twists and mines the Rebel County's first score of the second half. But it's still double scores...

19:15

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-16 Cork 0-7

A glorious finish from Fenton. Nine between them as we move into the fourth quarter and it's all one-way traffic.

19:13

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-15 Cork 0-7

Rock effortlessly points another awkward free. Hurley takes the latest Cork free - off the ground - and it goes wide as The Hill jeers and cheers.

19:10

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-14 Cork 0-7

The scoreboard takes on an ominous appearance as Brian Fenton slots his customary point from 30 metres to make it double scores. That's four without reply in 13 minutes since the action resumed.

19:07

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-13 Cork 0-7

Yellow card for Cork's Paul Ring and Rock teases over the free from a difficult angle on the wrong side - that's his third successive pointed free since the restart.

19:03

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-12 Cork 0-7

Rock nails another free and then a Cork attack is snuffed out.

19:01

Block!

Cooper does brilliantly to deny Hurley and it's out for a Cork '45', which Sherlock misses into Hill 16 amid a cacophony of whistles.

18:59

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-11 Cork 0-7

Rock arrows over a free, with most of the pitch basking in evening shade.

18:39

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final half time: Dublin 0-10 Cork 0-7

Some of the first-half shooting left a lot to be desired. Cork still very much in this game as they turn around within touching distance of the Leinster champions.

18:37

Wides

A let-off for the home team as Sherlock's free from the ground surprisingly goes wide. John O'Rourke misses also in the first minute of first-half stoppage time. Cooper becomes the second Dublin half back to be booked.

18:33

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-10 Cork 0-7

The Leesiders go direct again and Sherlock takes his mark, calmly dissecting the uprights. Eoghan McSweeney excellently pulls another one back - a superb strike with four minutes left in the first half. Kilkenny replies within seconds.

18:30

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-9 Cork 0-5

Foul on O'Mahony and Sherlock swings the free over to reduce the arrears. Not for the first time, the Dubs hit back immediately, Tom Lahiff finishing off a nice team move involving clubmates Paddy Small and Rock.

18:28

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-8 Cork 0-4

John Small is felled by Sean Powter and Rock makes it double scores with seven minutes left before the break.

18:26

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-7 Cork 0-4

Rock converts his free over the black spot from 30 metres after Jonny Cooper is tugged back.

18:23

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-6 Cork 0-4

Cork stayed with Kerry for 50 minutes, remember, and they are refusing to roll over here. Sherlock opts not to take his mark and whips over a beauty! Again, Dublin reply quickly - this time courtesy of Small via the crossbar.

18:21

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-5 Cork 0-3

Joint captain Hurley outfoxes Eoin Murchan again, eschews the mark and takes his second point. The Leinster champions retort through Bugler.

18:19

Yellow card!

A lot of wayward shooting so far, Costello and Rory Maguire the latest to miss the target. Sean Bugler is booked for a foul on Kevin O'Donovan midway through the first half.

18:16

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-4 Cork 0-2

Brian Hurley replies with a lovely score from 30 metres after Cork go long again from the restart.

18:15

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-4 Cork 0-1

Both teams with wides before Kilkenny makes amends for his earlier miss with a fine left-footed strike.

18:12

Post!

Unlucky for Cork as Steven Sherlock' effort off the outside of the boot rattles the upright; wide from Ciaran Kilkenny at the other end.

18:10

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-3 Cork 0-1

Paddy Small is fouled and Dean Rock slots the free into Hill 16 from the wrong side, making no mistake from his hands.

18:07

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Dublin 0-2 Cork 0-1

Cormac Costello gets the hosts up and running with seagulls aplenty at blustery Croke Park this evening. The Rebels reply through Cathail O'Mahony in the fifth minute but Lee Gannon pings over off his left to restore Dublin's advantage.

17:57

The fact that neither Con O'Callaghan nor James McCarthy are missing for Dublin today improves Cork's prospects somewhat. Two huge players who never fail to deliver.

17:51

Dublin have won 17 of the last 18 Leinster championships, including twelve-in-a-row from 2011 to 2022 inclusive. Cork arrive at this stage via the scenic route, having ousted Louth and Limerick after losing to the Kingdom.

17:48

Can Cork put it up to the Dubs or will we see another one-sided quarter-final at Croke Park this evening? The Rebels were well beaten by Kerry and will have to up their game big time to stay with Dessie Farrell's men.

17:26

Cork: Micheál Aodh Martin; Sean Powter, Maurice Shanley, Kevin O'Donovan; John Cooper, Rory Maguire, Mattie Taylor; Ian Maguire, Colm O'Callaghan; Daniel Dineen, Eoghan McSweeney, John O'Rourke; Steven Sherlock, Brian Hurley, Cathail O'Mahony.

17:25

Dublin: Evan Comerford; Eoin Murchan, Michael Fitzsimons, Lee Gannon; John Small, Jonny Cooper, Seán Bugler; Brian Fenton, Tom Lahiff; Niall Scully, Brian Howard, Ciarán Kilkenny; Cormac Costello, Dean Rock, Paddy Small.

17:22

Next up is Dublin against Cork, which throws in at 6pm.

17:22

Though to their first semi-final in 18 years, Derry look like a team that will take serious stopping this summer. Not just going on today's display but taking into account their three victories in Ulster, too. Clare had a memorable campaign but were outclassed today.

17:19

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final full time: Derry 5-13 Clare 2-8

An awesome display from Rory Gallagher's men as they power through to an All-Ireland semi-final date with either Galway or Armagh. Every Derry player was outstanding but they had particularly superb performances up the spine of the team from Rogers, McKinless, Glass and McGuigan.

17:18

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 5-13 Clare 2-8

Tubridy musters a consolation score from a stoppage-time free.

17:12

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 5-13 Clare 2-7

The classy McGuigan (1-8) opts to take his point. No doubt he could have had more if he needed it.

17:10

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 5-12 Clare 2-7

Off the right boot this time, the magnificent McGuigan fires over another Derry point.

17:08

Ooh!

Clare make a hash of the restart again but it's wide this time. Glass gets a boisterous reception as he is called ashore for a well-earned breather.

17:07

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 5-11 Clare 2-7

Clare captain Cleary (1-5) punctuates a rapid attack with a beautiful finish. That man McGuigan replies after more tremendous athleticism from Glass to make it double scores on the hour.

17:05

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 5-10 Clare 2-6

Tubridy swings over a Clare free before Cleary's drifts wide. Ethan Doherty is also narrowly off target at the Hill 16 end, with eleven minutes remaining.

17:03

Derry have a great ability to adapt their tactics depending on the challenge in front of them. They have played total football today compared to the Ulster final and have been a joy to watch.

17:00

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 5-10 Clare 2-5

Cleary pops over a free but the deficit Clare are looking at heading into the fourth quarter is still 13 points. Make that 14 as the wizard-like McGuigan replies with aplomb.

16:57

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 5-9 Clare 2-4

Cassidy's point is cancelled out by Cleary. Twenty minutes to go. A few Goal of the Season contenders in the curtain-raiser at Croker today.

16:55

Goal! (x2)

We've seen some wonderful goals today and there are two more - one at either end of the pitch! First Cleary finishes brilliantly soccer-style to the Derry net and within seconds the Oak Leaf reply through McGuigan after Conor McCluskey ran almost the full length of Croke Park - 5-8 to 2-3!

16:51

Subs

Colm Collins introduces David Tubridy and Brendan Rouine but the Clare men need a miracle now.

16:49

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 4-7 Clare 1-3

Heron tacks on another Derry point and it is suddenly a 13-point game!

16:48

Goal!

Bouncing off a few defenders, swashbuckling centre back Gareth McKinless with another emphatic Derry finish to the top left corner of the Clare net after a Shea Downey block denied Cleary at the other end.

16:45

Save!

Loughlin denied a fourth Derry goal by Manus Doherty and Glass misses the resultant '45'.

16:29

Great credit must go to Derry for their performance thus far. Their finishing has been exceptional - three brilliantly-executed goals from them in that first half. Tactically, they look very strong and their opponents have not been able to cope.

16:27

Brendan Rogers, Glass and McGuigan are causing Clare all manner of problems here and it really is hard to see the Banner County forcing their way back into this contest ... especially against a Rory Gallagher coached team!

16:25

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final half time: Derry 3-6 Clare 1-3

The Ulster champions have nine points to spare at the short whistle and have one foot in the All-Ireland semi-finals. They simply look too strong for Clare here.

16:23

Goal!

Any prospect of a Clare recovery has just been nipped in the bud in first-half stoppage time as Paul Cassidy finds the top corner and thus becomes the third Derry player to raise a green flag - 3-6 to 1-3!

16:21

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 2-6 Clare 1-3

Strong finish to the opening half from the Munster men as they force a turnover and Cleary points.

16:19

Goal!

Clare have found a lifeline - Ciaran Russell gets forward to create the overlap and picks out Pearse Lillis, who hits the Derry net - 2-6 to 1-2!

16:18

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 2-6 Clare 0-2

Uncanny accuracy from McGuigan as he increases his tally.

16:17

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 2-5 Clare 0-2

Jamie Malone registers Clare's first point from play on 31 minutes, closing the gap to nine.

16:16

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 2-5 Clare 0-1

That's McGuigan's third point of the day so far. With half an hour gone, this match is slipping away from Clare.

16:13

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 2-4 Clare 0-1

And midfield colossus Glass nonchalantly strokes over another one...

16:13

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 2-3 Clare 0-1

McGuigan drops a lovely shot onto the roof of the net as the gap is extended ominously to eight points.

16:11

Right and wide from a Loughlin free into the breeze nine minutes from the break.

16:09

Derry playing with pace and purpose here and Clare are looking all at sea in blustery Croker, where the northerners appear very much at home. Keelan Sexton wide from a '45' after Odhrán Lynch denied the marauding Podge Collins - the Banner could have done with a score there.

16:03

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 2-2 Clare 0-1

McGuigan drops over the Ulster champions' second pointed free.

16:02

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 2-1 Clare 0-1

Eoin Cleary taps over a free to open the Banner account as Glass is booked.

15:59

Goal!

This looks over already as Conor Glass surges in from the left and blasts an unstoppable shot under the crossbar to the back of the Clare net - 2-1 to 0-0 after 13 minutes!

15:55

Goal!

McGuigan with Dery's fourth wide but Clare make a mess of the restart and Benny Heron finishes emphatically to the net - 1-1 to no score after nine minutes!

15:52

All-Ireland SFC quarter-final: Derry 0-1 Clare 0-0

Niall Loughlin splits the posts at the Davin End from a Derry free on six minutes.

15:50

Further wides at either end. It's been a cagey and ultra-defensive opening five minutes, as widely anticipated.

15:46

Left and wide from Shane McGuigan inside the opening minute.

15:45

Game on!

Martin McNally gets us started. Opportunity knocks for two teams that not many would have shortlisted as potential semi-finalists at the start of the year!

15:40

Team news:

Niall Toner replaces Emmett Bradley in the Derry starting XV.

15:39

Just over five minutes to throw-in and the tension is mounting, albeit with a relatively-modest turn-out of spectators thus far. It will be interesting to see how Derry cope with the favourite's tag, which is something new to this team.

15:25

Croke Park looking absolutely resplendent for what is the biggest weekend of the year so far. Remember, there are two more mouth-watering quarter-finals taking place tomorrow: Galway V Armagh and Kerry V Mayo.

15:23

Derry V Clare for a place in the All-Ireland semi-finals is about as refreshing a pairing as we could wish for. Both sets of players have done wonderfully well to get this far, with respective managers Rory Gallagher and Colm Collins working wonders.

15:19

Clare: Tristan O'Callaghan; Manus Doherty, Cillian Brennan Cillian Rouine; Cian O'Dea, Ciarán Russell, Jamie Malone; Darren O'Neill, Cathal O'Connor; Pearse Lillis, Eoin Cleary, Emmet McMahon; Pádraic Collins, Keelan Sexton, Aaron Griffin.

15:19

Derry: Odhrán Lynch; Chrissy McKaigue, Brendan Rogers, Conor McCluskey; Conor Doherty, Gareth McKinless, Padraig McGrogan; Conor Glass, Emmett Bradley; Paul Cassidy, Shea Downey, Ethan Doherty; Benny Heron, Shane McGuigan, Niall Loughlin.
