U13 hurling Notes

On Thursday night 22nd of July our hurlers had a home game against Killacolla Gaels a combination of Castletown/ Ballyagran and Bruree. The temperatures on the night were very high, but the boys were well up for the game, from goalkeeper to the forwards really worked hard for every ball getting some great scores from start to finish. At the half time whistle Dromcollogher/ Broadford were winning on a scoreline of 2-4 to1-1. The boys really upped the gears in the second half and racking up a big score by finishing on a scoreline of 7-9 to 3-1. Great credit must go to these bunch of players they work extremely hard. New Defibrillator and Defibrillator Training

 

On behalf of Dromcollogher/Broadford GAA we would like to thank everyone that contributed to our fundraiser to purchase our new defibrillator and heated storage box. We now have a new LIFEPAK CR2 Defibrillator stored in a heated Defibstore 4000 Polycarbonate box and it is positioned on the front wall of our clubhouse.

Dromcollogher/Broadford GAA would like to train all of our community in how to use the defibrillator, especially given what has happened in recent times. We think everyone should avail of this opportunity. If you are interested in availing of this training for free please contact one of the following club members:

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

 

The following are the Results of the Lotto Draw that took place on the 26-07-2021, and the numbers were: 6, 9, 10, 15. There was no winner of Jackpot at €2,400 and there was two winners of the match three at €100 and they each got €50 and they were: Gavin Keane, Newcastle West and Gerard Wall, Dromcollogher and the Lucky Dips at €50 each were: Patricia Cregan, Rowels, Meelin and Tom O’Brien, Broadford and next week’s draw will take place Monday 03-08-21, in the GAA Field, Dromcollogher and the Jackpot will be going up to €2,500 and the Match Three will be staying at €100.
