Mohill club notes

Underage

Coaches are providing non-contact training, under HSE guidlines on Saturday mornings for the minor age groups from 11 to 12-15pm. There is also a teenage running group organised by the Athletic Club on a Monday night at the old Marian College from 7-8pm. These sessions are very important for the physical and mental wellbeing of our young boys and girls and we thank the selfless volunteers who are giving of their time.

No Drive-in Bingo

Due to new strict Covid rules Mohill GAA can no longer hold the Drive –in Bingo that has been so enjoyable for the players and the volunteers for the past few weeks. It was the only outlet a lot of people had during these horrible restrictive times and the Park was packed to capacity with cars every Monday night. The town had got used to Peadar Flynn calling out numbers on the public address system and the honking of horns when there were winners. This was a public service that The Canon Donohue Hall Committee and Mohill GAA were happy to provide. Hopefully things will improve, the lockdown will be short and successful and the faithful Bingo players will be back in The Canon Donohue Hall before long.

 History Book

The free club history book has been taken up on a large scale. Numbers are dwindling but still some left in Baxters and Pauls so you’re not too late to avail of this good offer. You can also contact Maureen Lynch @ 0861765987
