Mohill

Ladies Success

Our great ladies are Intermediate Champions of Leitrim following their win over a fancied Dromahaire side on Saturday last. This was a great team performance with Mohill excelling in every position. We congratulate Dearbhaille Beirne for being awarded Player of the Match. There will be no rest for the team as they play the champions of Roscommon in the Park on Saturday next at 12pm.

Senior Championship

Next Sunday is an important day in the club’s history as we face a resurgent St Mary’s in the County Final. Carrick have improved immensely since Mohill met them some weeks ago. Our players are well aware of the undoubted young talent they are facing and will pull out all stops to bring back the Fenagh Cup again. We thank our sponsors Lough Rynn Castle Hotel and our usual friends at home and abroad for their generosity during these testing times. Best wishes to our two neighbours, Gortletteragh and Annaduff who contest the Intermediate final on Saturday.

Under 15

Our Under 15 boys bowed out of the championship on Friday last when they were beaten by an extremely strong St Mary’s side. They never gave up and hopefully 2021 will hold better things for these well-mannered young men. Scorers were: Matthew Murphy 1-3, Eoghan Duignan 2-0, Colin McNamara 0-4. The Reserve team have qualified to meet Carrick in the final. Date and venue not available going to print.
