Newly-installed Kildare football manager Glenn Ryan has added another former team-mate to his backroom team.

Ryan revealed on local radio station KFM this morning that Brian Lacey will be part of the new set-up. 

A Leinster SFC medallist with the Lilywhites in 1998 and 2000, Lacey joins Dermot Earley, Anthony Rainbow and Johnny Doyle in the management team. Lacey also played senior football with his native Tipperary either side of a six-year spell with Kildare.
