James Costello is set to continue as Kerry minor football manager for another season.
Costello’s three-year term in charge ended with a narrow one-point defeat to Cork in the Munster semi-final two months ago.
However, the St Pats Blennerville clubman's name will be put forward for ratification at the next county board meeting.
Costello guided the Kingdom to the Munster title as well as a place in the All-Ireland semi-finals at the first attempt before they retained provincial honours last year.
