Wexford joint captains Matthew O'Hanlon and Lee Chin raise the Bob O'Keeffe Cup

Joint-captains will no longer be allowed to accept a trophy together on behalf of a winning team.

At today's virtual Congress meeting, it was revealed that Central Council passed a motion, recommending just one winning captain accept the silverware at official presentations.

Joint-captains had become a common theme in recent times, Matthew O'Hanlon and Lee Chin both raised the Leinster SHC trophy for Wexford in 2019 while Kerry's Kieran O'Leary and Fionn Fitzgerald had the honour of lifting the Sam Maguire Cup back in 2014.
