Salthill-Knocknacarra 0-9

Corofin's 50th match in their unbeaten run in the Galway SFC will come in the semi-final after the All-Ireland champions pushed aside the challenge of Salthill-Knocknacarra with ease this afternoon.

Only a point separated the teams at half-time (0-6 to 0-5) but Salthill-Knocknacarra faded completely in the second period as Kevin O'Brien's side then took command and were well out of sight by the time All-Star hurler Daithi Burke scored the game's only goal in the 54th minute.

Closing in on an eight Frank Fox Cup success in-a-row, Corofin's remarkable run began back in 2012 and they are showing no signs of stopping soon.

Beaten finalists after a replay last year, Tuam Stars defeated Bearna 0-17 to 0-16 after extra-time in today's second quarter-final at Pearse Stadium.
