Final is down for Jan 21/22, hurling semis dec 17/18 and football semis Jan 7/8.

Id be hoping one semifinal saturday evening and the other sunday at 1pm. WC final is 3pm so should give those looking to get to Qatar plenty of time!

Probably most likely I'd say, maybe Ballyhale and Ballygunner (jumping the gun I know) under lights in Thurles on the Saturday, other semi on the Sunday at 1 somewhere like Parnell Park.

Cavan or Longford is roughly half way between Slaughtneil and St Toms. Would this be a decent venue for this game? Personally dont like Parnell so would hope it isnt there. Never been to Pearse Park but Breffni Park in Cavan is a great spot. But you'd imagine it will be in Parnell. Will be a great game I think. Slaughtneil havent played football in awhile so full commitment to hurling.

I think it's all being played in croke park may aswell be there as Parnell park it will give people a chance to play there

In my defence, I tried to google had the final be played, and googled Slaughtneil hurling, and the first headline I read was: ''Slaughtneil hold edge over Dunloy in Ulster Hurling final'', but I misinterpreted it. Regardless who wins, the match will more than likely be played in either the Fermanagh (Brewster Park) Cavan (Breffni) or Monaghan (Clones) county grounds. Makes no sense for it to be took to Down (Newry) or Parnell Park. The Toms played in Clones back in 2013.

Clones was used because of a replay its gonna be played in croker easier for TV to set up

If Croker is selected I will personally buy a hat and eat it! I think it devalues the comp a little, ONLY the final should be played there. Take Ballyhale as example, if they are to reach final that will be FOUR times theyve played in Croker this year, 5 if you include final at start of year. Watching the Ulster final. Antrim crowd are poor and are 1-5 to 4 up. Expect S'Neil to get there noses in front and see it out. Ref is almost as poor as the Kinvara man. Thomas's will definitely not take Antrim teams for granted, have had serious battle with them, beating Loughiel after a replay and that David Sherry last minute winer v Cushendall. Antrim teams actually have a pretty decent record vs Galway teams, Athenry, Portumna, Sarfields all having taking beatings from them the last 30 years...with Dunloy giving out most of them. Their style won't be too dissimilar to Loughrea either. All that being said, Thomas's if they play to the level we expect them too they should win, getting a win in the all Ireland series is long overdue and have no shortage of hurt to call upon, the ballyea game, the ballyhale hammering (all be it I don't count that one as their was mitigating factors and everything that could go wrong did) the Borrisilleigh game and the worst of all, last years heartbreak to Ballyhale where they were probably 5/6 points a better team on the day but those two TJ goals from frees. Best of luck to them

Agreed last year was a heartbreaker. But then you could say Dunloy are overdue success too. 4 final appearances and no win.

I agree. Taking Dunloy lightly would be foolish. Watched some of their match yesterday on GAAGO and they looked very skillful and physical to me. No free lunches…..
