Replying To Awaywiththeferrys:  "That's very true about Antrim teams going to Belfast. Far better atmosphere in ballygalget everyone packed round the pitch last year was no atmosphere everyone was spread out around a big stadium even a Saturday afternoon would suit better in newry Saturday final worked well 2 years ago"
If non Ards team in final (and it may well happen don't laugh) take it outside the peninsula otherwise with cost of living currently makes sense to play in Ballygalget. Cheaper and handier for me as neutral to watch on TV than go to Newry.

100% if you have a family of 4/5 going it'll cost a fortune in these times county board don't care they will lose out on gate money with game in newry the 2 clubs should ask for it to be moved or do ballygalget not want to host it

What's the feeling of the two clubs? Play in Newry or in the Ards?

Not to sure tbh most people I've been talking to from both clubs think it should be in ballygalget but who are we to say players probably in 2 minds playing a county final in a big stadium would be good experience for younger players but probably would like it closer to home too hard to know

Not to sure about junior carryduff will be looking to add more silverware to the Betsy shield Portaferry to win by 3/4 points for me what state will the pitch be in after tomorrow nights game in newry after all the rain we've had recently and it give rain on Sunday soft pitch won't help Portaferry nippy forwards

Will Portaferry be to strong for ballycran and how will Portaferry full foward line handle the soft pitch

A month ago I would have said Portaferry but now Im not so sure - Ye moving from Summer to more wintry conditions may suit Crans. Liatroim impressive yesterday. Carryduff were good but beat by better team on the day. Will that mean 6 in senior championship next year?

Great result for Portaferry make to work hard for it ballycran we're very poor with there time wasting also number 2 faking an injury don't want to mention names but not good seeing that in a final

Portaferry very good in second half - Ballycran had homework done on them but couldn't keep it up. Best team won. Not many of good Port minor teams at the level yet. Just shows the jump from u17 team to senior takes a while.

Portaferry have a lot of good young fellas on panel hopefully in next few years they'll improve a lot. Slaughtneil will be a difficult game for Portaferry but it's all on the day

Slaughtneil are a class outfit. Big thing they have is their physicality over teams in Ulster. Not taking anything away from their top class Hurling ability.

No doubt about it they are a very big and fit team but hopefully our boys can give it a good go and get a win
