So sad to hear the death of a hurling legend. What he achieved with both Down and Antrim was unreal. A great character. Not many can say they they managed a team to victory over Kilkenny in Nowlan Park

Thanks to him I witnessed Down win an Ulster hurling final. Pretty amazing. That Kilkenny match is on Youtube.

And remember 1986 when the Antrim team he managed ran Cork to five points. In fact Cork had to score seven goals that day to beat Antrim
