Minor And U20 County Teams To Resume10 May

(Oldest Posts First)

Great to see minor and u20 championships will take place this year and indeed finish last years. Hope common sense prevails and none of these competitions are scheduled until the leaving cert is well over .

None? Why....are there lots of 18, 19, and 20 year olds doing the Leaving Cert? Nearly all would be under 18 I'd imagine. Any players younger than that at under 20 level would be panel members at best unless they are exceptional.

Looks like it will be after LC. And the counties left in 2020 minor will get a bye from the prelim of 2021 under 20 and minor so it doesn't clash for players. As a Meath man, obviously very happy to have a date for the Leinster minor final. If we can win the final it'll be a hard-won Leinster. 4 games, over 2 years, over 6 months and I think 3 stoppages

Most people doing Leaving these days are 18 and many are 19...
