Just out of interest: How do you know Supersub is his only usename? In fact, how do you know how many usernames anybody on here has? Finally, how many usernames do I have? Cockney_Cat (UK) - Posts: 2420 - 15/04/2021 19:55:05 2337338 Link 1 |
I don't get this. You're saying it's ok to agree with someone, but not to disagree with them. Disagreeing with someone's opinion, doesn't mean you dislike them.

Im not saying that at all. Im saying there should be a way to appreciate a post without posting but if you cant say why you disagree with a post then that option shouldnt be there ie no red thumbs. if you disagree with a post you must post why you disagree with the post KillingFields (Limerick) - Posts: 3480 - 15/04/2021 22:47:34 2337366 Link 0 |
I don't. But I think he's a sound poster. You're taking my reply too literally. I neither know nor care how many usernames you have.

"green thumbs can be just as negative" How would you know? Cockney_Cat (UK) - Posts: 2420 - 16/04/2021 19:11:54 2337440 Link 3 |
If this topic goes on much longer, I think i'll be changing my opinion, and advocating the thumbs down ! AfricanGael (UK) - Posts: 1947 - 16/04/2021 20:30:08 2337452 Link 0 |
Im not saying that at all. Majority of sites dont use negative ranking of posts which ultimately are what the red thumbs are if you cant say it then you shouldnt be just down rating. That is very different to the green thumbs KillingFields (Limerick) - Posts: 3480 - 16/04/2021 20:48:16 2337453 Link 0 |
Know what?

The standalone green thumb is a shambolic emoji that belittles the contentious, The GAA And "Northern Ireland" thread debate, and the rest, the lone green thumb makes a mockery of balance and the views from the not in favor side, these anonymous green and red emoji's carry the same values as us anonymous posters. - it's as if the traffic lights are stuck on green favoring traffic coming at you from all directions. supersub15 (Carlow) - Posts: 2904 - 18/04/2021 13:21:32 2337677 Link 3 |
Can the way videos and any form on link to other sites be better KillingFields (Limerick) - Posts: 3480 - 18/04/2021 23:21:59 2337790 Link 0 |
A block poster, preventing them replying to you, might be useful. GreenandRed (Mayo) - Posts: 7290 - 20/04/2021 16:22:54 2338056 Link 10 |
Might be helpful. But mods not pre modding posts would have to come in at same time

Just noticed the way Green thumbs are popping up all over the place, in some cases for an embarrassing one liner is it time to get rid of them once and for all. supersub15 (Carlow) - Posts: 2904 - 14/08/2021 12:29:43 2370660 Link 1 |
