Speedy Recovery Graham Geraghty

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Graham Geraghty's wife posted this as part of her message on Facebook today:

'We know the Gods on the Hill of Tara will pull one of their best warriors through'

Graham was a class act on the pitch in a Meath Jersey, skilful, a great football brain, brave, a great leader and he hated losing. He won't lose this battle either.

Had a great chat with him immediately after the 2011 final, he was very complimentary towards Dublin and was actually quite pleased for some strange reason :D
Get well soon lad!

Best wishes to Graham and his family, It sounds like he has a tough road ahead, but he is over the 1st hurdle. I count myself lucky to have seen him so often in his prime on the playing fields, even if we were on the receiving end, he was in a class apart

Wishing him a full and speedy recovery. He is in great shape generally, that will stand to him.

In truth in 2011 everyone was happy Dublin won in 2011, back then I don't think anyone expected ye to keep winning the way ye have!.
I remember having a chat with him in Buck Milligans a week after Meaths loss to Dublin in 1995, he was a total gentle man.

Hope he's okay and recovers. Meath legend.

I know he became a super forward, but for me he's the greatest number 5 I've ever seen

I think Graham's wife Amanda has laid out the battle that is ahead. The next 5 days are critical, and he has a long road to recovery ahead. That been said Graham is a warrior. And will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Keep fighting Graham
