nothing has changed since then, Mayo couldn't score in the second half back then . When will they ever learn you have to score to win games.

Was watching the 96 leinster hurling final yesterday, great game of hurling, tough tough stuff.
Hopefully TG4 will continue to show more of these games in the coming weeks.

It was pull first ask questions later.
It was entertaining but the modern game has left this hurling style in the past. That is by no means to diminish the achievements of the men of 96, there was some great hurlers on there even though I only remember Rory McCarthy and Damien Fitzhenry playing for their clubs.

Anyone watch the 2014 All Ireland final yesterday? Probably the best game of hurling I've ever seen. Hawkeye proved its worth.

Absolutely outstanding game. Initially thought it was highlights until looked at the clock and only 9 mins gone. Two best teams of the last 20 years almost at their peak with fantastic players on both sides. Actually had forgotten what a super hurler Richie Power was. Most players at the top of their game even after Henry, Tommy Walsh etc were gone.

The replay of the '91 MF in Thurles. Cork were leading by 8 or 9 points with 15 minutes left. Tipp managed to turn it around. Aidan Ryan scored a fantastic goal to help seal victory https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3Dnm4dYQjF3JE&ved=2ahUKEwiQkZKtrbPoAhUVsXEKHQbkAdwQo7QBMAB6BAgAEAI&usg=AOvVaw0u8ILO739ha5a9AlPtt337 later went on to lift the Liam Mccarthy defeating Kilkenny in the final.
