We've a great set of lads we should be proud of, but humility is about owning the values the lads portray and living that way ourselves as best we can, making it a part of Dublin culture.
I think every second media jock, throwing bouquets at us needs to be taken with a pinch of slat, they will be hanging us soon enough, all we can do is stick to our values with humility, without looking for or valuing outside acknowledgment or validation. Its our way and what ever comes from outside the county or the media, doesnt interest me to be honest. Confidence and identity are should be self sustaining.

A persecution complex over a remark about a Kerry footballer's actions 10 years ago that has absolutely nothing to do with the Dublin GAA whatsoever - Yet the knee jerk reaction is to round the wagons, over absolutely nothing.
Let's not forget that this is a trolling thread, set up to rile Kerry supporters, by a so called Dublin supporter. It would be a different story if the thread were started by someone from another county about splitting the Dubs in 2, funding, (which has not appeared for a while now thank God). You would expect a solid defensive argument.

I've just read an article on RTE website in which Tommy Gorman likens Seamus Darby and the 1982 Offaly team to the DUP dashing the cup from Boris Johnson's lips just as he thought he had reached the Holy Grail of a Brexit deal.
Isn't it funny how people reach for the DUP every time they want to strike a less than particular comparison? Is there a subtext which suggests that Kerry represent pure Gaeldom and that anybody who denies them is an imposter??
I have seen absolutely no evidence of a persecution complex in a anything any Dublin poster has written. When a debate like this evolves Dubs align themselves with their county while others take a contrary position.
Dub posters are wintering too well to bother circling any wagons, a chara.
