Tyrone crushed Fermanagh in Omagh this evening to book their place into next Saturday’s Ulster minor football championship final against Donegal.

The Red Hands finished 6-21 to 1-6 winners at the end of a one-sided provincial semi-final at Healy Park, where they dispatched four second-half goals having led by 10 points at the break.

It was the visitors that netted the first goal of the contest through midfielder Dan McCann nine minutes in, but once Ronan Cassidy hammered home Tyrone’s first major three minutes later the game took a different trajectory.

Ronan Cassidy netted again for the Red Hands two minutes before the interval, as they led by 2-10 to 1-3 at half-time, and they’d find more majors early in the restart through Paddy McCann and Eoin McElholm that had them more than home and hosed.

Shea O’Hare added number five in the 43rd minute before Noah Grimes made it six a minute later and from there the victors could look forward to their decider date with Donegal next weekend.
