GAA grounds to be used as county vaccine centres

The HSE have announced the venues that will be used as Covid-19 vaccine centres with five GAA grounds included in the list.

These facilities will be used in the coming months when the general public receive their vaccine.

Among the 37 venues announced, five GAA grounds will be used by the HSE to administer vaccines.

Pairc Ui Chaoimh and Mallow GAA in Cork, Longford Slashers, Simonstown Gaels in Meath and the Offaly GAA Centre of Excellence at Faithful Fields are all set to become vaccine centres.

Also in the list of venues are hotels, golf clubs, universities and sports grounds.
