A late Odhran Murdock goal handed Burren a dramatic 1-15 to 2-8 victory over Mayobridge in last night's Down SFC quarter-final.

Extra-time looked to be on the cards when an Aaron Magee major brought the 'Bridge level at the end of normal time, only for Murdock to hit back with the winner. 

Champions Kilcoo are also through to the semi-finals after surviving a huge scare from Carryduff on Saturday night to win 1-18 to 3-11 after extra-time. Substitute Dylan Ward's late score proved decisive for the Magpies.

In yesterday’s other quarter-final, Clonduff left it late before overcoming Downpatrick RGU on a 1-15 to 0-12 scoreline.
