The 2020 Donegal SFC final replay between holders Naomh Conaill and Kilcar will be broadcast live by TG4 from MacCumhaill Park next Wednesday, September 8.

Following an appeal by Kilcar after the original fixture was finally played two weeks ago, which saw Naomh Conaill come out on top 4-2 on penalties, the Donegal Competitions Controls Committee (CCC) ordered the match to be replayed.

Kilcar claimed their opponents made four substitutes during extra-time instead of the permitted three and the county board agreed with their appeal.

The decider had been postponed three times last year as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, the replay will take place just three days before the start of the 2021 Donegal SFC.
