The Donegal senior footballers' prospects for 2021 have been given a huge boost with the return of talented forward Odhrán MacNiallais to the squad.
The Gaoth Dobhair man stepped away from Declan Bonner's set-up two years ago after his club's historic run to the All-Ireland senior championship semi-final and hasn't featured for the Tir Chonaill men since the All-Ireland quarter-final defeat to Tyrone in 2018.
Having also missed the entire 2017 campaign due to travelling, the 28-year-old is back on board with Donegal ahead of the new season, according to local reports this evening.
MacNiallais' availability will come as welcome news for Bonner and his team, following the recent departure of All-Ireland winning defender Karl Lacey as selector.
