After watching last nights quarter finals Crosserlough have a lot of work to do if they are serious
about contending for this title. The game was like a bad game of camoige both teams kicking
away possession, the lough have a couple of good forwards but there defense is questionable
at times. Cootehill will be full of confidence after there win and could be a bogy team that could
catch teams out.Lacken are the team to beat, they are a formidable force from 1 to 15 and even
with 3 or 4 key lads injuried any team will have to be at their very best to try and compete with them.

Ended in a draw. Crosserlough probably should have won cos they kicked ball after ball into the Lacken keepers chest. Lacken had man sent off just on half time so will be glad to get another chance, tho they hit the bar & Ray Galligan kicked wide when he should've scored a goal.

Crosserlough will be kicking themselves. Definately kicked 5 balls into the keepers hands from only 30 yards out. Their shot selection at times was very poor & had the beating of their marker but lacked confidence to take him on & shot from sill positions. Apart from that they were by far the better team on the night. Their backs were pretty solid, a few hairy moments under high balls but they rode their luck. They cleaned up in midfield i thought, winning breaks & more primary possession than Lacken. Lacken did play with 14 men for the 2nd half. Lacken probably played poor enough & will improve for the replay. You would assume they will win more breaking ball & will take one of their goal chances the next day.
Some great hits went in.
The tea from the shop was lovely i must say. Lyons tea bags, ya can't beat them with a stick
Crosserlough may have missed the boat i feel. Lacken by 4 the next day
