Well done to Cavan last night. Better team won. Best of luck in the semi.

Thanks Gearoid. And good luck to ye on Sunday. It was a fantastic win and just proves to the Non stop begrudgers that there is good young footballers in Cavan. We have been on a nice little run the last few years, 2 Ulser u21 titles, 1 Ulster minor title and 1 Leinster Jun title and still these boys arent happy. I think even if Terry brought Sam home these boys would still whinge.
Now for Brewster Park on Sunday and hope the Cavan fans come out in their thousands to support all the lads.

So Cavan beats Kildavan! You were never going to fully lose either way but well done lads.

Good news from Kildare at last after the SJ fiasco! A well deserved win by a well prepared Cavan team last night. Have to agree with ondforty-very good constructive post as usual. Best for Cavan were Dunne, Hayes, Brady, McKiernan, Reilly and O'Connor. At least some will feature at senior level in the near future. Another fine achievement by Terry Hyland and his mentors adding a unique Leinster success to Ulster ones already under their belts. Proud to be a Cavanman in Kildare yesterday evening watching a committed Cavan team with Cavan manager winning the Leinster title.

from what I hear Cavan cannot go on any further as they are not a Leinster team so what now do the looser go forward.

Chris Conroy played in all three matches and is much underrated. He competes for everything and does the simple things well. Against Longford, he was instrumental in getting us back in the game.

the logic is flawed, as it would mean that if London, or New York, where to win in the All-ireland series, that they won't be able to take home sam because they are not an Irish team.

I thought Conroy was poor enough.

Only quoting a comment nothing else as I don't know myself.
Strange that an Ulster team has to play in Leinster will the seniors play there nest year instead of Ulster ??? better chance of winning a provincial title if they go west however

As Johnston did not feature for Kildare this weekend, he is eligible for the lein final. Early came on as a sub yesterday. He is ruled out of the junior decider.

Jack L, think you're caught in a bit of a time warp there.

I can understand all the confusion. are Cavan in Ulster or Leinster ?, does Seanie Johnston play for Cavan or Kildare ? Is he a hurler or a footballer ?. Are we a junior team or a senior team. I need a drink.
