Kilmacud Crokes full back Darragh Butler went straight to Dublin Airport to emigrate to Australia after last Sunday's Leinster club SHC final defeat to Ballyhale Shamrocks.
Butler, who was outstanding as Crokes' heroic second half came up just short, left immediately after the game at Croke Park to catch his flight.
"Darragh was unable to make last night's homecoming as he had already departed to Australia," the south Dublin club said in wishing him well with his new life Down Under.
TweetBest wishes to Darragh Butler as he relocates to Australia! Butler had a tremendous season at full back, playing his 1st ever knockout games at adult level thanks to his injury free run.
